How Relay works Two shuttles circle a city-block loop between a venue, two hotels and a parking garage, with Relay at the centre. GPS satellites send each shuttle its position and speed; the shuttle’s tracker reports to Relay; Relay computes arrival times and sends them to the phones of passengers waiting at the hotel stops and to a departures board at the venue. When a shuttle reaches a hotel the waiting passenger boards; the next one walks up, scans the QR code on the stop sign, and their phone shows the next arrival. Point any screen you have at the display URL and it runs itself — no app, no operator, no refreshing. We rank every destination your venue serves by who leaves next and announce arrivals aloud, so a departing passenger can read one line or simply listen and know where to stand.

  • Spoken announcements call each arrival and boarding, so the board still reaches people facing away from it, wheeling a bike, or standing too far back to read it. Nobody has to watch a screen to avoid missing their shuttle.
  • Readable at a distance, with the route badge repeated on your signage, driver handbooks and passenger app so the number always means the same thing.
  • Any screen you already own. A spare TV, a tablet on a stand or a portrait monitor — landscape and portrait both lay out correctly.

Most shuttle debriefs are anecdote — the one complaint someone remembers, the route a volunteer thought was busy. We keep and analyse every position from every vehicle, so your debrief is measured instead: what each group actually experienced, where your fleet was under-used, and which changes would move the needle next year.

  • Wait times as your passengers experienced them. We correct for the fact that people are more likely to arrive during a long gap than a short one — we give you the honest number, not the flattering one.
  • Evidence for where you should add a vehicle — and, just as valuable, where adding one would change nothing because the constraint is distance, not frequency.
  • Vendor-ready summaries for each of your operators: mileage, hours, speeds, breaks.
